A Slow Weekend in Chiang Mai: Markets, Temples, and Nothing Else

The best weekends in Chiang Mai have no itinerary — only a direction and a pace.

Saturday

Morning market breakfast. Afternoon cafe with a book. Evening walk along the moat. Optional massage. Early night.

Sunday

Late start. One temple, chosen by proximity not fame. Lunch somewhere you've walked past twice but never entered. Sunset drink if you want; early sleep if you don't.

That's the whole plan. Chiang Mai doesn't need you to optimize it.
